My Story as a Designer

I'm Mr. Himmat Singh Jadeja, and I'm the grandson of the Late Maharaja of MORVI - H.H. Sir Wagh Singh Ji. This gave me the inspiration to name the brand 'ROYAL MORVI JACKET'.

I have many stories of my Grand Father and what I liked the most was that, everything he bought was made on order. Guns, Cars, Shoes and of all, Garments. So I am trying to bring all of that back to life again.

30 Years ago, I used to design my own kurta, jacket, churidar, and combination normal for Jackets. Then, at the request of one of my friend, I started my career as a documentary film maker and did an immense job as a film maker. I made 75 documentaries and won two national awards.

In 2002, I joined a private University as a Professor of film, and last year in 2022, I took voluntary retirement. Once again, I started with designing Ethnic Indian dresses for men, especially jacket combinations.
